I have done a great deal of research on this subject. One of the reasons I have taken the time to learn about the kingdom of God and how it operates is the result of the very first prophetic word I received from Lance Walnau in 1998. At the time I didn't quite understand what it meant and there was no teaching or prophecies regarding the wealth transfer. In light of everything I've learned since then I believe the word he released over me at the time was speaking of the wealth transfer and at least my role in it.
Here is an excerpt from that word:
"Like Joseph you've heard tonight, you've been called and are going to be called into the presence of others to solve problems. The Lord wants you to know that you are in training for reigning. Don't sell yourself short. Where God is taking you is greater than the opportunity that's about to be offered you.
But know this, that the Lord says you're only in the Potiphar's house and in the prison training realm. You're about to go into the place where you have authority with Pharaoh and over vast economic resources. God is going to cause you to shape policy. There's coming a business anointing. There's coming an authority in the area of finances and prosperity."
One of the authorities that I've studied on this matter is C. Peter Wagner who has written a great deal on spiritual warfare, the fivefold and wealth transfer. I'd like to take a moment and share with you what he has written on the subject of Infrastructure Design that needs to in place and understood.
Peter states that there are four links in the chain of wealth transfer: Providers - Managers- Distributors - Field Marshals.
The Field Marshals are already in place and deployed to the front lines of expanding God's Kingdom. Most of them are doing an outstanding job, but virtually all of them have a ceiling that keeps them from doing all that they are capable of, and that ceiling is almost always money! It is the responsibility of the other three links in the chain (see image) to see that this ceiling is removed.
The first link, Providers, must already be in place as well. Otherwise God would not have given us the word that funds will be released unless the wealth was actually there, and that would obviously be in the hands of the Providers. It goes without saying that more Providers will be added, and many existing Providers will generate even more wealth, but the initial amount must currently be in place.
I am personally most interested in the Distributors link because that is where I feel I have a role. Peter states that there are "two kinds of Distributors, Narrow-Band Distributors and Wide-Band Distributors. If the link were divided in two, the Narrow-Band Distributors would be toward the right, in direct contact with the Field Marshals. Wide-Band Distributors would be toward the left side of the Distributor link, in direct touch with the Managers link on one hand, and with the Narrow-Band Distributors on the other" This is where I would place myself.
I don't yet have a network of Field Marshals, but I am in the process of seeing that being developed through RPM Coaching and Mentoring, many pastors, and apostles from other nations are asking to be connected to us for prayer and support. They continually share with me what their greatest needs are. My role in distributing the wealth that is being transferred will be to get it into the hands of Kingdom-Minded apostles who will know exactly what to do with it. A great example are my pastors Tony and Kathy Thompson of Glory City Church Atlanta which is part of the Glory City Network based in Brisbane Australia. Glory City Church is in place to function as an apostolic training and sending center.
At the moment, the weakest link is the Manager, and I don't think anyone is surprised that God may be delaying the great transfer of wealth until we strengthen this link. The general idea is that the Managers multiply wealth that originates with the Providers before it goes further down the chain. I agree with Peter and have adjusted my vision to include the shifting of ministries from our current donor-based funding to revenue-based funding. In our current model of doing things, Narrow-Band Distributors - we'll call them ministry leaders - have relied on donations from Providers to sustain their ministries. They spend their money well and thereby have gained the trust of Providers.
A much needed step forward would be for ministries and apostolic networks to establish ministry revenue funds that would bring the Manager link more directly into the picture. In other words, a Provider would not only donate to a ministry's cash flow or special projects, but would also contribute "principal" to a fund that would not be "spent" but "managed". The proceeds from this fund would then be available for cash flow or projects. Ideally the revenue fund would be large enough to provide the income needed to cover annual administrative costs of the ministry initially and then be available for projects and expansion.
Scriptural Transfer
I believe God arranges circumstance so that wealth is entrusted to Distributors or Field Marshals without any overt action on their part. Remember my earlier reference to the Israelites leaving Egypt? When they got to the desert they were prosperous, and they didn't get their money from making bricks without straw. God moved supernaturally in the hearts of the idol-worshipping Egyptians to turn huge amounts of wealth over to God's people. The more Kingdom-minded believers who become wealthy, the faster God's Kingdom will expand.
